So you're
interested in the prophetic? Great! Our hope is that we will be able to
explain and release an understanding of this wonderful anointing. Not
that prophecy is a hard thing to grasp, but rather, so many have made
hearing God seem TOO complicated. Just think - prophecy is our awesome
God communicating to and through His people. How simple is that and
yet, how important this gift is to you personally and to the Body of
Christ worldwide.

In this
section I'll be illuminating truths about the prophetic. Let me make
this clear, I don't mean the events that were proclaimed by the
prophets in the Old and New Testament as it relates to bible prophecy
(we'll save that for those theologians and scholars who are well versed
on this subject) but rather the gift of prophecy and the Office of the
Prophet.

The gift
of prophecy occurs as a person is moved upon by the Holy Spirit in any
given setting and at any time (I Corinthians 12:10) and the Office of
the Prophet is someone that has been called from birth to be an oracle
for God 24/7/365 (Ephesians 4:11). These men and women carry the same
anointing as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Deborah and Elijah. They have learned
what their counterparts experienced; that is, being prophetic is a
lifestyle. Yes, you eat, drink and sleep it - you never STOP being a
prophet!

Hey,
guess what else? The prophetic anointing is never meant to exalt the
vessel releasing the word. It is truly a servant ministry that is
purposed to magnify the Lord and to bring direction, edification,
confirmation and correction to the lives of His people. Therefore, to
be really prophetic, you must be relational, obedient and vulnerable
with the Lord. That means...the game is up. No more religious activity
or playing games with the Lord, you know that produces nothing.
